A Day in Palma de Mallorca

Palma is the capital city of Mallorca, I live 50 minutes away from this beautiful city so on my last day-off I decided I wanted to see it again. How many people live there, how big it is, when the building were built you can google. I just would like to show what you can see there besides the shops.

The La Seu Cathedral is the real jewel here, it is at the harbour promenade, at the entrance of the Old Town.

The Jardines de s’Hort del Rei is next to the Cathedral.

The Passeig des Borg is a street, on both sides are palaces in them international design shops and 2-2 sphinx statues decorate both ends of the street.

The Fornet de la Soca is the oldest bakery in Mallorca, amazingly delicious stuff inside.

The Nuevo Poble Espanyol is an open air museum, here you can find the most important architectural styles in Spain (like the copy of the Alhambra).

From the Bellver Castle the view over the harbour with the hundreds of yachts is amazing.

And some statues, decorations, balconies, koala bears, small gardens, fountains…etc I bumped into while walking there.
